• FFWA may collect Personal Information (as defined below), such as your first and last names, home addresses, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers; payment information when you make a transaction such as donating to FFWA or registering for or subscribing to certain events, products, services, creating a profile, participate in a sweepstakes or contest, take a survey, use an interactive feature or participate in a forum where potentially demographic information and other information about you may be obtained. We and our service providers may automatically collect certain information while you use the site, including your Device Identifier (as defined below), browser/operating system, referring URL or advertisement, and all of the areas our Site you visit. There are a variety of technologies that collect this information including cookies, local storage and web beacons. In addition, we may receive information about you from third parties.

TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
Information We Collect Automatically as You Access and Use the Site We and our third-party service providers (including any third-party content, advertising, and analytics providers) may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect certain information about your use of the site whenever you visit or interact with the site (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include the browser and operating system you are using, the URL or advertisement that referred you to our site, the search terms you entered into a search engine that led you to our site, all of the areas within our site that you visit, and the time of day you visit the site, among other information. COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE
“Cookies” and local storage are pieces of information (data files) transferred to an individual’s browser on their device when the device is used to visit a site. Like most Internet sites, the FFWA Site uses these technologies for a variety of purposes. Web beacons or similar technologies may be used for a number of purposes, including, without limitation, to count visitors to the site, to monitor how users navigate the site, to count how many emails that were sent were actually opened or to count how many particular links were actually viewed.
SECURITY AND PAYMENT PROCESSING
We employ commercially reasonable security methods and technologies to help secure the Personal Information we collect and store. Donor information is stored within a donor management database within RMHC. Access to the database is restricted to personnel with a legitimate business need to access or modify the information contained therein. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We therefore cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, or that we transmit to you, or guarantee that it will be free from unauthorized access by third parties.
Friends of Families with Autism uses Blackbaud products for payment processing and data storage. Blackbaud has modified every one of its applications that processes, stores and transmits cardholder data based on PCI DSS and PA-DSS compliance standards. Blackbaud represents that it fully adheres to PCI standards regarding secure storage of data, strong access control and other requirements. Since we use a vendor to process credit card payments made through the site and to store associated payment data, FFWA does not directly collect such credit card information, nor does FFWA store or have access to credit card information submitted online. For donations made offline, FFWM may directly collect, store or have access to credit card information for processing payments.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
We may offer links to sites that are not operated by FFWA, including without limitation the Chapters. If you visit one of these linked sites, you should review their privacy and other policies. These locations include: forums, message boards, chats and community profiles. When you use these features, you should be aware that any information you submit, including your name, location and email address may be made publicly available to anyone, including other users, search engines, advertisers, third party application developers, and anyone else with access to our online services. We are not responsible for the policies and practices of others.

USERS RESIDING OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES AND CONSENT TO TRANSFER
The site is currently operated in the United States. By using the site or providing us with any information, you consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States, a jurisdiction in which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside or are a citizen. There may be instances when Friends of Families with Autism may disclose your personal and other Information, including situations where we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary in order to: (i) protect or defend the legal rights or property of Autism Speaks or its affiliates, or their employees, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements); (ii) protect the safety and security of users of our products and services or members of the public; (iii) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; (iv) comply with the law or legal process, including laws outside your country of residence; or (v) to respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence.
TO COMPLETE A MERGER OR SALE OF ASSETS
If Friends of Families with Autism sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of its assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business, Friends of Families with Autism may transfer your personal and other Information to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.
